I AM BACK.

Hello all my blogger friends. First I want to say thank you for the well wish when I hurt my finger. There is still a little swelling but all good.
Yesterday I received a lovely package from Debi Y from Dly's Hooks and Yarns  her granny square swap and three crochet hooks thanks you so much Debi.

While I was healing I went shopping and bought this fabric I do not know yet what I will make with it but was too cute to not to buy.

This week I have been back crocheting and started on a baby balnket for my best friend who is due next month.

well I think that is all that has been happening with me.

Going Cazy

I have been going crazy Friday I injured my finger and it blow up stright away. So we had to go to the emergency room after 5 hours I found out I had dislocated my finger middle finger.

I have been told have to keep it taped like this for 3 weeks. That is not the worse thing the finger next to my thumb is my yarn holding finger and my middle is how I hold my work it is killing me that I can not crochet and I was half way thought a project. I'll find away to crochet who knows I my teach myself a new technique to crochet.

Just a quick video I found today.

Just a quick little story today I was crocheting on the pier when an lovely lady was asking questions and picked up my crochet project and my crochet hook fell into the ocean. I came home a little down since was the only size I had and told my partner (Graeme) what happened next minute Graeme brings over a bit of paper of an order form he bought me new 3 new crochet hooks. Thats what I call love.

First Sewing Project

 So I hvae been busy playing with my new sewing machine so I thought my first project I made was a crochet hook case.

So far I have made two crochet hook case for my favorite hooks that I use most susan bate and my bamboo hooks I am thinking I might make one for my clover hooks make in more boyish( if that is even a word).

First 2012 Project.

Hello all 2012 is here and I have been busy sewing little projects and a little bit of crochet as well. I am only doing small crochet projects since it is summer here in Australia and to hot to make blanket. This my hat I made enjoy.

It has been some time since I have made hats and it has got me motivated to make heaps more.
