How Many Crochet Hooks Are Too Many

Hello all since we bought a bigger cage for my pet birds my craft space is now in my bedroom. My partner notice it alot more now then before. I thought he'll be upset of all my yarn or fabric but no. He got all worked up of how any crochet hooks I had so he counted them and he counted 145 crochet hooks but he did not count the ones I am using on my projects which brings it to 150 crochet hooks and I have more coming from the U.S thanks to ebay. So is that to many crochet hooks and how many do you have.

Jellyfish

Hello all my wonderful friends first I like to say sorry I have been away I have a new job so it's been hard to find time to pick up my hook and get stitching.

Yesterday I had a day off so I made this little jellyfish it only took 3 hours to make but it felt shorter.

Baby Booties

I've been busy making crochet booties. I have made over 6 but I do not know where I have put the rest there some where in all my junk.

I have alot of crochet stuff I have made over the years and think I should start sell my crochet items any advice I have tried facebook but friends and family just want me to give it to them so I am not doing that again.

Keeping My Hands Warm

I made these gloves last month I wore them all the time when I volunteer at the Zoo there were real hit and I made 5 more for friends which I did not get photos of.

I can not wait to make more for myself.

Wet Cold Weekend

It was a really good weekenad to sit in front of the heater at crochet away while it rained all weekend in Melbourne and living by the beach it makes every thing much colder.

I have been working with this next project on and off  I don't how I want it ear or arm and legs I have made a few body parts for this rabbit but I do not like how they look so I am still working on it. But I thought I'll give you all a sneak peek.

Baby Blanket

Hello all my friends I have a new laptop at last I came today so I thought I'll show what I was making before my old laptop broke but my old laptop was over 10 years old so it was time.
Last time I was here I was working on a baby blanket for my Brothers and Sister inlaw new baby due in October.I just bought the yarn for a girl baby blanket since I do not know what the sex is until October.

Good new me and my partner have found a new computer at last just have to wait to come so I'll be back for at last I have missed you all and seeing what you all been up to and sharing what i have been up.

quick hello after I thought the worse was over I have to buy new laptop I am using my friends real quick to write this when I do I have alot of projects to show you all. I thought I'll have a laptop by now but since I am married to someone who is in IT he keeps turning all the laptops I look at.

A quick hello and tell you all I am still alive. Wow what crazy last 8 to 9 weeks first my Grandfather had to go to hospital so had to drive 2 and half hours home. then my budgie had to go the vets who was in there for 6 days. we had to pick up our new car due to some dick thought a red light was a green.  Then my Grandma had a bad fall and broke her hip another 2 and half trip home the my brother and my sister in-law had to leave there little girl with us while the went to a wedding in Perth due to she was not allowed to fly due to chicken pox's. My mum stayed with me for two week while she did a work thing and then I was taken to hospital due to three broken ribs due to a dog in a park was getting his ball and it did not matter who was in the way and fell on the edge of bench seat.  so that was my last few weeks all back to normal I hope thought I'll just check in and say all is well and I am still alive.

I thought I'll share with you all what I finished making yesterday it is another amigurumi toy I just had to have a timeout on the baby blanket.

Hello all my blogger friends. First I want to say thank you for the well wish when I hurt my finger. There is still a little swelling but all good.
Yesterday I received a lovely package from Debi Y from Dly's Hooks and Yarns  her granny square swap and three crochet hooks thanks you so much Debi.

While I was healing I went shopping and bought this fabric I do not know yet what I will make with it but was too cute to not to buy.

This week I have been back crocheting and started on a baby balnket for my best friend who is due next month.

well I think that is all that has been happening with me.

Going Cazy

I have been going crazy Friday I injured my finger and it blow up stright away. So we had to go to the emergency room after 5 hours I found out I had dislocated my finger middle finger.

I have been told have to keep it taped like this for 3 weeks. That is not the worse thing the finger next to my thumb is my yarn holding finger and my middle is how I hold my work it is killing me that I can not crochet and I was half way thought a project. I'll find away to crochet who knows I my teach myself a new technique to crochet.

Just a quick little story today I was crocheting on the pier when an lovely lady was asking questions and picked up my crochet project and my crochet hook fell into the ocean. I came home a little down since was the only size I had and told my partner (Graeme) what happened next minute Graeme brings over a bit of paper of an order form he bought me new 3 new crochet hooks. Thats what I call love.

First Sewing Project

 So I hvae been busy playing with my new sewing machine so I thought my first project I made was a crochet hook case.

So far I have made two crochet hook case for my favorite hooks that I use most susan bate and my bamboo hooks I am thinking I might make one for my clover hooks make in more boyish( if that is even a word).

First 2012 Project.

Hello all 2012 is here and I have been busy sewing little projects and a little bit of crochet as well. I am only doing small crochet projects since it is summer here in Australia and to hot to make blanket. This my hat I made enjoy.

It has been some time since I have made hats and it has got me motivated to make heaps more.
