The head and face finished it took me four hours working on her eyelashs and I love them.

Christmas Blanket

Today I finally my Christmas granny square blanket it took me two weeks to make. I have never done crochet Christmas themes before because I always had the idea of crocheting in front of a wood fire while watching in snow.

I am now working on another Christmas project.

My Cat

Today I was in bed for the night crocheting and then one of my two babys thought it was best to jump on me a fall asleep.

I put her on the floor but in less then a second se was back up.

I had no hope.

What Is In My Bag

Today my mum was in town and was I went to powder room I asked my mum to hold on to my back and she could not get over how heavy it was so I thought I'll share with all what is in my bag.

This is my bag I made this over two years ago just before my sewing machine died on me.

First in my bag is my latest crochet magazines.

My yarn I did have another project in my bag but it got to big to carry around.

Also in my bag is my crochet hooks, pens, tape measure, yarn bobbins and scissors.

This is always in my bag I never leave the house with out it I am long and short sighted and always need to clean my glasses. I also never ever leave the house with out my drop since I don't have tear ducts so my eyes are always dry. (and I have never cried tears)

My note books are like my children I have two in my bag, one in the car, another in the lounge room another in my bedroom.

Here I have buttons, stitch markers, row counters, needles and thread and my safety eyes and nose.

And the last thing in my bag is my music and my snacks.

So what is in your craft bag.

I Hate It When I Forget.

Today I was going thought all my crochet projects and found a project I was doing because I had to go buy more yarn. So today I bought more yarn but when I sat down to finish the project I have forgot to write down what hook size where I normally write every thing down. I just hate it when forget things like that.

53 Days

Yesterday I made my first crochet snowflake it was also my first time using crochet cotton and using my steel crochet hooks so alot of first's for me. I have had a fear for year useing thread and cotton yarn for years but after useing it I do not know why it feared me so it was really easy to use.

 And here it is after starching.

You can not tell in this photo but the mat I used for starching the colour came out onto the snowflake but dose not matter. I have alot more to make before Christmas. This is the only white Chistmas I'll have since in Australia it will be summer.
