Is It Just Me

I don't know if it me or not so I am asking the qustion. Today had to buy a new crochet hook due to dumb me left the one I was using at home. So I bought the same brand and size hook but the hook did not feel right in my hand so I did not use it at all. When I got home I use the hook that I left behind and it felt so right. so is it just me or am I just crazy.

  3. I think the companies are making the shank part smaller..I compared my boye hooks because I did the same thing..Boye..is now made slightly smaller in the shank part..and a little narrower..at last in the steel hooks

  4. I'm partial to Susan Bates hooks, but I've never had that happen. Weird! Glad you haven't lost your favorites!

  5. I'm sure if you feel that something is off then something is off. At least you didn't lose your hook!

  8. I also found some differences from Boye hooks. I saw the G/6 size so many people are using is 4.00mm, but mine is 4.25! So strange! Maybe the company changed something on making their hooks? Don't you think so?

  9. Was it a bamboo hook? I remember you saying you like bamboo hooks, I think. Does wood swell or shrink in heat or cold? Could that be the answer. I pose questions because I do not know the answers................

  11. I bought a fancy wooden expensive hook the other day, but when I tried it out I noticed it didn´t feel right so I got out my old hook again, and it felt perfect in my hand. I guess you should keep whats good and old and not replace it by something fancy new.
