It's been so long

Hello all my wonderful friends
First I like to say sorry I have been gone for so long it has been one of those years. In my last blog post I wrote about going on holidays which was long needed photos up soon ( I hope). After the holidays every thing got crazy my new job is full on and I have gone back to school so with work and school stuff I have not done much crochet. Then we lost one of our pet birds I hit us really hard and his little mate need a lot of TLC because he was not eating or drinking. After month we got him a new mate and after two month in quarantine there was a lot of time introducing the two birds together. Not long after that I got really sick which turned out to be pneumonia I was in hospital for two weeks which leads into now were we found an owner miss treating its pet we were able to call someone to help after a long treatment at the vet tomorrow he/she is moving in with us we did not want another pet bird since we already have 6 now it turns into 7. With all this I became an uncle again not once but twice now I have 4 most of the most beautiful nieces here is what I made both for both my new nieces.

Hi all I was hoping to do a blog of what I have been up too in my crocheting and a little sewing as well but run out of time and my partner and I are off on holiday tomorrow and the cameras are in the luggage I wil be back in three weeks.

Writing Patterns

Hi all I have a question about writing patterns out of the last 6 or 5 years I have only wrote one pattern up like you see in books and all the others the rest I have wrote them in a away only I would understand. Now I think it's time to write them up since the questions I gets asked to most is do you have a pattern for that. Question I have what is the best way to write the pattern in the full terms or in abbreviations way.

Hello all thought I drop in really quick and say hello and I am still here I have not been crocheting much thanks to doing night shifts then I sleep 10 hours and back to work I go. I have crochet a few things but need to take photos I hope they be up soon due to I am going to start doing days again very soon. How Many Crochet Hooks Are Too Many

Hello all since we bought a bigger cage for my pet birds my craft space is now in my bedroom. My partner notice it alot more now then before. I thought he'll be upset of all my yarn or fabric but no. He got all worked up of how any crochet hooks I had so he counted them and he counted 145 crochet hooks but he did not count the ones I am using on my projects which brings it to 150 crochet hooks and I have more coming from the U.S thanks to ebay. So is that to many crochet hooks and how many do you have.

Hello all my wonderful friends first I like to say sorry I have been away I have a new job so it's been hard to find time to pick up my hook and get stitching.

Yesterday I had a day off so I made this little jellyfish it only took 3 hours to make but it felt shorter.

Baby Booties

I've been busy making crochet booties. I have made over 6 but I do not know where I have put the rest there some where in all my junk.

I have alot of crochet stuff I have made over the years and think I should start sell my crochet items any advice I have tried facebook but friends and family just want me to give it to them so I am not doing that again.

Keeping My Hands Warm

I made these gloves last month I wore them all the time when I volunteer at the Zoo there were real hit and I made 5 more for friends which I did not get photos of.

Wet Cold Weekend

It was a really good weekenad to sit in front of the heater at crochet away while it rained all weekend in Melbourne and living by the beach it makes every thing much colder.

I have been working with this next project on and off  I don't how I want it ear or arm and legs I have made a few body parts for this rabbit but I do not like how they look so I am still working on it. But I thought I'll give you all a sneak peek.

Baby Blanket

Hello all my friends I have a new laptop at last I came today so I thought I'll show what I was making before my old laptop broke but my old laptop was over 10 years old so it was time.
Last time I was here I was working on a baby blanket for my Brothers and Sister inlaw new baby due in October.I just bought the yarn for a girl baby blanket since I do not know what the sex is until October.
