Hello all my blogger friends. First I want to say thank you for the well wish when I hurt my finger. There is still a little swelling but all good.
Yesterday I received a lovely package from Debi Y from Dly's Hooks and Yarns her granny square swap and three crochet hooks thanks you so much Debi.
While I was healing I went shopping and bought this fabric I do not know yet what I will make with it but was too cute to not to buy.
This week I have been back crocheting and started on a baby balnket for my best friend who is due next month.
well I think that is all that has been happening with me.

It's good to read your finger is going better.
ReplyDeleteVery smart from Debi to sent you some hooks; than you have backup when one felt in the water ;-)
I think it will become a very lovely babyblanket when it's ready, I'm looking forward to see it complete.
Glad you like it Rob. Love the monkey fabric and the green and blue squares look very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're able to crochet again! I just LOVE the squares for the baby blanket. =) Great colors!
ReplyDeleteCool fabric, glad to hear your finger is doing better and you are back to crocheting. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteYou know, several years ago I noticed I had arthritis in my hands, especially the left one. I thought to myself I couldn't crochet anymore, those thin little hooks would kill my hands. Ha! A couple of years I discovered Clover's hooks with the fat handles. Oh, my, what a change. The motions of crocheting actually keep my hands flexible now. The arthritis symptoms are sooo much less when I do crochet. Anyway, long story short... you might want to look into a chunky-handled hook -- Clover or even one of Debi's polymer clay handles. A little prevention now...
ReplyDeleteRenee :)
Great to have you back..:))
ReplyDeleteI can see a quilt being sewn with that cute monkey material ..
Lovely colour in your squares and the square received from Debi :))
The fabric is very cute, Rob! If I was you I could not go home withour it as well! The square looks very nice and can't wait to see your finished blanket! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad your finger is getting OK and have a great weekend ahead!
Happy hooking!
LS
